SCHOOL FASHION GUIDE
GRACE AND MICHAELA

With fall coming up I’m sure most of us are sticking to a hoodie and sweats for school everyday—and nothing wrong with that. However at some point we need to switch it up. Here’s my guide to ways to elevate your school wardrobe while still being comfortable.
For a classier—but still comfortable—look, jeans and a top are always the way to go. Having a pair of staple jeans in a few different colors is so important. The Serenitia Mid Rise Relaxed Jeans from Princess Polly come in black, dark blue, light blue, and white which allows for so many different outfits. Specifically for school you could either dress an outfit up with a cute top, or be more comfy in a sweater. There are so many cute shirts you can get from Free People that are still appropriate for school. I really love the We The Free Dahlia Tee, Fiona Cami, or Forevermore Tank.

Some of my favorite brands that have clothes that work for any style are Brandy Melville, Edikted, Urban Outfitters, Grey Bandit, and Garage. Brandy Melville has the perfect pieces that can work for any outfit. They have adorable tank tops, the perfect oversized hoodies, classic sweats, so many tee-shirts, sweaters, and more. Brands like Edikted and Grey Bandit have such cute clothes when you want to dress up more. For the perfect basics I love stuff from Garage. Urban has the perfect basics, nicer pieces, and more unique items. Here are some of my favorites from these brands:
- Kimchi Blue Rachel Short Sleeve Cardigan in dark red from Urban Outfitters
- Tiffany Striped Tank from Brandy Melville
- Bayside Slitted Micro Skort in Grey Melange from Edikted
- Sloan Tee in white from Grey Bandit
- UltraFleece Straight Leg Sweatpants in jet black from Garage
- Ivy Jacket in red from Grey Bandit
- Sunrise Babydoll Tank Top in navy from Edikted
- Ginny Top in light pink from Brandy Melville
- Asymmetric Cinched Waist Sweater in icon blue from Garage

The best quality sweats I have are from Alo. The Accolade Collection has so many great pieces that are perfect to mix and match. They also have so many cute colors available and always release new ones. My favorites from this collection are the straight leg sweatpants and the hoodie. However there are also so many other great options: the normal Accolade sweatpants, the quarter-zip, the crewneck, the full-zip, and the shorts. With so many different pieces and colors there are infinite ways to style this collection and have adorable outfits for school.
Sweatshirts are absolutely my biggest obsession. I have so many classics and so many unique ones. My favorite hoodie will forever be the Essential Popover Hoodie from Abercrombie & Fitch. There are always so many new colors available and I genuinely wish I could have every single one. There are so many other amazing sweatshirts I recommend (or want), so here are a few:
- Logo Pullover Relaxed Hoodie in Neon Pink from Aviator Nation
- Classic Fleece Pullover in Lobster Red from L.L.Bean
- Classic Fleece Hoodie in Sol or Cotton Rose from Mad Happy
- “Road Trip!” Oversized Lux Hoodie in Dark Heather from Dandy
- Mon Cheri Hoodie from Starfit
- Quilted Relaxed Pullover Hoodie in Ocean from Aviator Nation
- Raw Hoodie in Yellow from Scuffers
- John Galt Christy New York Hoodie in Navy from Brandy Melville
- Surf Terry Shep Shirt in Nautical Navy from Vineyard Vines
- Victory Set in Electric Sunset Combo from FP Movement
Now the last step is shoes. There are so many options for shoes: sneakers, slippers, clogs, etc.I love all of the Adidas sneakers so much. The Gazelle Indoor Shoes in Bliss Lilac / Core Black / Purple are so adorable and unique. I also love The Campus 00s Shoes in Pink Fusion / Core White / Gum. Another cute pair of sneakers are the Dodge Multi Sneakers in red from Steve Madden. The Birkenstock Boston Clogs in Taupe are another classic shoe that I love so much. They work perfectly with sweats or jeans. Uggs also has adorable comfy shoes that also work with anything. The iconic Ultra Minis or Coquette Slippers are both so cute.
