Clothing

Clothing is what really makes up fashion—and most of our wardrobes. Entering fall, it is the perfect time to update our pieces for a nice refresh. Here are some of our recommendations and favorite brands:

• Pajamas – We all know pajamas are more than something you wear to bed. I know I can’t sleep without having a cute pajama set on. Whether it’s a satin set from Victoria Secret, or the famous Djerf Avenue fruit set, there’s always the perfect thing out there for you. 
• Tops – Finding the perfect statement tops are always difficult, however I have so many that I love. Some of my favorite brands for “going out” tops include Princess Polly, Edikted, and Free People. I know these brands might seem played out but if you really look you can find plenty of pieces that aren’t just the TikTok viral ones. For more casual tops I’d still recommend the same brands but I also love Brandy Melville and Urban Outfitters.
• Bottoms – There are so many different bottoms perfect for all occasions: sweats, jeans, leggings, etc. My favorite place to get jeans is Princess Polly. I currently have a white, black, and blue pair that are always my go to. For sweats I really love the Accolade ones from Alo, and for leggings you can never go wrong with the Align leggings from Lululemon.
• Hoodies – Hoodies make up the majority of my closet. You can never go wrong with a good hoodie to make any casual outfit. The best hoodie I have that really hoodies is the Essential Popover Hoodie from Abercrombie. The camo one went viral a while back, and I can say it was for a reason. It’s the perfect oversize, comes in so many colors, and the hood fits perfectly. I’ve also had a recent obsession with quarter zips from Vineyard Vines or Mock Necks from Parke.
• Dresses – The perfect dress makes any vacation or event. Currently my closet mainly consists of Princess Polly dresses, however I have a bunch from Peppermayo on my own wishlist.

Shoes

Shoes really make up each outfit, creating the perfect statement piece. There have been so many trending shoes recently and here of some of my favs:

• Adidas – Whether it’s the iconic Sambas, Campuses, or Gazelles, Adidas is killing it in the sneaker game. There are so many unique colorways to get or you can keep it simple for an everyday shoe. I also have recently been wanting to get the Samba Janes because I think they are so cute and different to step up a simple outfit.
• Uggs – Entering Fall means its officially Ugg season. Some of the most trendy and comfortable slippers come from Ugg and there’s a reason. The Ugg slippers are always perfect for any casual look. More classics include the Tazmans and Ultra Minis.
• Ballet Flats – The new biggest trend is ballet flats, and let me say I’m a huge fan. I recently got the Michaela Mary Jane Flat from Sam Edelman and I’m obsessed. I have a black pair but I’’ve been looking for another pair in red. Having a unique color really helps your outfit stand out.
• Boots – Boots have become another huge trend that I love. Whether it’s cowboy boots or a more classic, sleek look they are all so cute. I really want to get a pair of knee-high brown boots and a black pair.

Accessories

An outfit isn’t complete without the perfect accessories. Here’s what’s trending right now:

• Chunky Statement Jewelry – Bold, statement jewelry is in. Thick chunky necklaces, oversized hoops, and layered bracelets all add serious drama to any look. I really love brands like Logan Tay or Coastal Caviar to find the perfect statement piece.
• Layered Necklaces – Whether you’re going for gold, silver, or mixed metals layering necklaces is the easiest way to elevate any outfit. Mix and matching different lengths and styles, from minimalist pendants to chunky chains, makes a chic look.
• Bracelets – Add a little personality to your wrist with simple or extravagant bracelets. My favorite brands are BaubleBar or Enewton.
• Sunglasses – Sunglasses are an absolute essential to elevate any look without trying too hard. I love looking on Saks or Revolve for the newest drops. I’ve really love the look of colored lenses—green or blue.
• Bags – A good bag can totally pull together any outfit. Whether you’re into handbags, bookbags, or casual totes, make sure you’ve got a bag that suits your vibe. I found a few purses I really like on Free People but I also love looking on the Real Real to find vintage designer bags.

• Hair Masks – My absolute favorite hair mask is the Arvazallia Hydrating Argan Oil Hair Mask from Amazon. I literally can not survive without it. This hair mask makes my hair feel so soft.
